The company GLOREX AG in Füllinsdorf, Switzerland, is responsible for the trade in Switzerland, France, Austria, Great Britain, Italy and for all further export countries.  

Our carefully selected range of products comprises of more than 10.000 lines with a very competitive price point. From our German location we supply 5000 specialised businesses throughout Europe with the GLOREX and hobby-time brand. 

GLOREX was founded in 1974 in Switzerland and is a family-owned enterprise.

Since then we have evolved from a specialist in doll and teddy bear making products to the full range we have today. We employ 50 staff in our two locations and have a motivated sales team to take care of our customers in their respective countries.

GLOREX was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, canton Aargau, in Switzerland.

Original hand-sewn Swiss dolls represented at that time with a great success the main business of the company. A plastic face and a body made of tricot fabric enable to make easily an Original Swiss cloth doll. With assorted clothes, socks, underwear, accessories and small wigs made of synthetic or real hair attractive little creatures could be made. 

Since 1982 the company's headquarter is in Füllinsdorf near Basel. In 1987 the company GLOREX GmbH in Rheinfelden, Germany, was founded. In 1992 the company has moved to Rheinfelden in a new building of 6000 sqm. The doll range has been developed and partly completed with patent-registered innovations. In addition a complete teddy bear range was created. In 1995 Glorex absorbed the company M. Wanke GmbH in Limburg near Frankfurt. With that acquisition GLOREX became one of the world's leading suppliers of doll making items.

1997 Glorex took over the brands hobby time and Stewa-Hobby with the main product ranges of these two famous German manufacturers of hobby and craft products. The main focus was the assortment of technical hobbies as for example modelling, moulding, mould-making, resin, candle making. In the last years the range was developed and enlarged considerably.

GLOREX involved from the originally specialist in creative doll and teddy bear making products into a full assortment supplier in the hobby and craft domain. Today GLOREX is able to supply the full range of hobby & craft product from one-stop.

We employ round 50 persons in two locations, in Füllinsdorf, Switzerland and in Rheinfelden, Germany. Our dynamic full assortment comprises currently more than 10.000 items. We sell our products Europe-wide exclusively to the specialised trade.
